2016-05-30 ‘All my secrets / away.’
‘Aks’
Cin told ©oach better last Saturday after, before, during, and after ©oach put him on the pitch as the 2nd team hooker -
but not before, during and after aksing Cin if that decision was ‘okay’ – ‘my
chiropractor’, it was a rhetorical question and answer both, Cin was going in
as hooker either way, aksing my chiropractor is all / we gots.
‘Once
more’ Cin says it better before, during and after each ®ugby Club season opene®,
to wh(m)ever happens to be sitting to Cin next on / whatever bench they happen
to be seated upon – ‘Eric rang me’, The Who’s Pete Townsend said it better in
that Time-Life ®ockumentary that Cin videed earlier this year, recalling yet
another phone call from your man Eric Clapton is god, innit god, back in the
1970s, ‘from whatever grave he was in / that morning’ - ‘into the breach’, aping Shakespeare, and
your man Henry IV’s ‘band of brothers’ Aquatain (oh please hooker, -id.)
speech, ‘for he who spills his blood with me today’ the Bard hulk-smashed it
better back in the 17th, ‘will be forever / my brother’.
And so, for the umpteenth time, Cin sits
down of (t)his Just Another Mani(a)©
Monday evening to hulk-smash away at yet another iteration of / The Season,
hulk-smashing away at yet another iteration of / The Season for the
umpteenth time is all / we gots.
Course
this time - as it is every cingle one of the umpteen times / so far - it’s /
different, ‘this time’ the tag line of umpteen Hollywood movies have it better
‘it’s personal’. So far has Cin
(d)evolved into the state of equanimity and magnanimity - all’s that any of us
can ever / aspire to is magnanimity,’ (y)our man the
former heavyweight boxing champion of the world Jake Johnson (?) expressed it
better, following this left jab of a truism with the uppercut and literal punchline
as we do, ‘course the
heavyweight champion of the world can afford to be / magnanimous’, and truer words were never / (m) /
(st) and just plain / uttered - that
is / ®egime Ze®o,
that he feels no ®ancour or unholy ®age
towards the forces that have transpired to send ®ugby
©lub down into the bush leagues of the governing bodies, ‘I don’t’ Linda Blair’s Regan McNeil says it
better when aksed the same in The Exorcist, of her
own dearth of emotion while under the sway of ©aptain
Howdy, innit ©aptain Howdy, ‘feel / anything’, How Does It not feeling Anything
is all / we gots.
Good
times, though this state of near-euphoria and How Does It Feeling of bliss also
known as ®egime Ze®o
is what’s good for the goose that is Cin, it will not do much good for the
gander that is / The Season. It’s
not that kind / of sport, ‘I know Imma have a good season’ your man and
fellow-hound MacKracken RIP said it better to Cin many moons ago – five years
give or take, Cin (barely) remembers it because he played (unsuccessfully) at
being the 40 Year Old Vi®gin at a Halloween Party after MacKracken’s ®IP service, and ©in
was i®ony of i®onies
40 years / young (oh please hooker -id.) at the time – ‘because / I’m angry’,
having a good season because I’m hangry is all / we gots.
Still,
it’s a good painful How Does It Feeling of a ‘Sunday Mo®ning’ Kris Kristoferson’s tune of the same name has it
better, ‘Coming Down’, following a ®ugby
©lub season opener, no matter the division or the governing
body that particular year (no, it’s not that particular year, it’s / this year,
Mr. Disassociative -id., ‘you may have a form’ the head shrink said it worse
many moons and eons ago to ©in
after the whole famn damily went to the head sh®ink
after his Da tumbled off the roof and into a coma for ten days, ‘of
disassociative / disorder’, a diagnosis that proved prescient when it sank in
only / later - get it, a diagnosis of disassociative disorder that sank in only
later, get it ? what did the doctor say
to the newly diagnosed Alzheime®
patient? ‘Go home and / forget about it’, going home and forgetting about it is
all / we gots - a form of disasso©iative
disorder is all / we gots) when a person wakes up and can’t walk properly or
raise his / her arm at more than a 60 degree angle after a ®ugby ©lub season opener, following this left jab of a truism with the uppercut and
literal punchline as we do is all / we gots.
Course
the Sunday Mo®ning Coming Down that followed the ®ugby ©lub season opener, one and two days ago respectively, was
also the scene of your man their Da’s 80th birthday and birthday
party. After his tumultuous fall off the
roof and into a ten-day ©oma many moons and eons ago, your man their Da is going
pretty good at that age, ‘(wo)man does
not grow old because (s)he ceases to play’ your man their Da’s Da and their
grandfather’s Luskvegas kitchen wall slogan had it better, innit Itt, ‘(s)he
grows old because (s)he ceases / to play’, growing old because ceasing to play
is all / we gots.
Course
when you’re after being a certain age, expecially on ®ugby Club, playing takes on a brand new / meaning, ‘I have
one of everything’ Cin says it better when aksed about how he still manages to
get around the pitch – flailing around one of each of his limbs as he does so,
arms, legs, shoulders, is shoulders / a limb ? – that still / works, having one
of everything that still works and flailing that one limb that still works
around is all / we gots.
‘I
hope my age’ your man Hyman Roth, played by legendary acting teacher / ©oach Lee Strasberg, says it better in Coppola’s The Godfather Part II before, during, and after his birthday party
scene in Havana, as his birthday cake is delivered on the hotel balcony for him
and his goombah friends , ‘is correct / I always remember / my age’. Though their Da might not remember exactly
his age – ‘what year’ is one of the questions that their Da akses of ©in fairly frequently as / of late, ‘is it ?’ – he remembers
the important things remembering the important things (yes yes we know -id.
it’s all / all / we gots) is all / we gots.
Course
their Da’s birthday party itself was not free / of d®ama, what with your man ©in
e-viting people left, right and center, who were not on the original guest /
e-vite list, because who knows when we all might see each other and / or their
Da the next time? With his secondary
guest list e-mail bouncing around the Hell’s half acres that is the World Wide
Web before, during and after their Da’s birthday party and the organizers of
the party shooting him dirty dirty e-mails and texts and phone calls left,
right, and centre, still Cin did not back down, and the actual number of people
who finally showed up at the party was, like Goldilock’s porridge, not too hot
and not too cold but just right, not too hot and not too cold but just right is
all / we gots.
‘Plus’ Cin wrote it better in his secondary
e-vite cinvitation of the locale of the party, ‘apparently we used to own / the
place’, referring he was to the local Golf Club rented out for / the occasion
of their Da’s 80th birthday party (and who’s forgetting not to
mention things umpteen times / now ?
-id.). Line got a few LOLs, and
happens apparently to be true, a bonus that five-lettered wordle as we do, (y)our
man their grandfather RIP and their Da’s Da ran the golf club for some time
‘back’ an uncle said it better on Sunday after, ‘in the ‘40s’. Course the whole famn damily has lost some of
its luster and all of its’ commercial properties since that time – ‘Frank
Sinatra played there’ someone said it better of the glorious times at the golf
club, perhaps it was a euphemistic story, ‘and Tony / Bennett’ – ‘gonna give’
your men One Direction sing it better in their song of the same name, ‘all / my
secrets away’.
Afterwards
Cin went to Luskvegas for dinner with his M and P and for a post-mo®tem of the birthday party, which was cinsidered a success,
though most of the chicken dinner ended up being given to the feral cats that
call their M and P’s Lukvegas home / home, cinsidered a success, though most of
the chicken dinner ended up being given to the feral cats is all / we
gots.
