2016-07-14         chill

Not unaccustomed / to ©haos, and plenty / of it, and its’ ilk  - ‘horror’ Brando’s Colonel Kurts enumerates it better in Coppola’s Apocalypse Now, ‘horror / and terror’ – still Cin is impressed at the sight and the site of tens of thousands of O-Town Bluesfest fans (the supe®fans are still out / there, cheering every strike / of lightning and crash / of thunder,  hurriedly leaving the Bluesfest venue, the cindominium’s backyard, as a thunder shower wreaks / havo©, wreaking havo©, guess what, is all / we gots.

Cin had your man Tosh the laptop record / the same, and will upload the ©lip ‘when’, like de Niro’s Neal MacAuley in Michael Mann’s immor(t)al film Heat, when aksed by his sidekick in bank robbery, played by Val Kilmer, when McAuley will be after getting ‘some furniture’, and, later in the film, ‘an old / lady’, to accessorize his L.A. beachfront condo, replies,  ‘I / get around to it’, getting around to it is all / we gots.

Wait, what, ‘the show’ Pink Floyd sings it better in Alan Parker’s film take on the Floyd album of the same name The Wall  sings it better, ‘must / go on’, the show going on is all / we gots (that’s enough ®ainman -id.), and didn’t the summer shower just now just come to its stormy conclusion, coming to its stormy cinclusion is all we / gots.

‘We’re experiencing’ the TV announcement and accompanying a®twork announces it better during The Simpsons when the channel in question on that episode goes off-air, ‘technical difficulties’, with your man the camera operator in the TV announcement a®twork  hoisting a bottle of half-drunk wine, visibly inebriated with the star symbols and goofy grin to confirm / the same, visibly cinebriated is all / we gots.

And so the Bluesfest big boa®d announces the same to (t)his Thi®stday evening – and they never get any / more or any / less thirsty because Regime Zero - remaining supe®fans, who being supe®fans cheer wildly every announcement announced by either the Bluesfest big boa®d or by the thunder and / or lightning of Mother Natu®e, who ten minutes ago was pissing cats and dogs, innit cats, but who now is as docile as / a lamb, thirsty  is all / we gots.

God love ‘em innit God the headliners are after playing their set now after your ®ain delay, with 20 minutes  left before the nightly Bluesfest ostensible lights out, and this being O-town, that ostensible lights out in 20 minutes is almost guaranteed lights out / in 20 minutes, except of course when (y)our man Snoop Dogg id in town playing past 11 PM and he gets up on stage and goes ‘ they tell me we get fined ten grand for every minute past 11, but F&*% those mother-^&^#s ‘ as we do. And who pray tell is tonight’s headline®?  ‘XTC’ reads the  Bluesfest big boa®d in big red neon, and ‘exstacy’ (little help, -id., ‘exstacy?’  ‘extasy?  ecstacy? ’  it’s evidently not a state / of mind to which he is accustomed as of late because Regime Zero (that’s enough, -id.)) is the name or at least the only word of the song what they’re after performing, ‘it’s good to be back’ the lead singer sings it now better ‘in ©anada’, good to be back in ©inada ( hooker please -id.) is all / we gots.

Good times, ‘oh ©anada’ your (front)man the f®ontman of XTC sings it better now – ‘hello’ the fictional f®ontman of metal band Spinal Tap sings it better onstage in the Rob Reiner rockumentary of the same name, ‘Detroit’, and it’s hard to say which is more offensive, these guys tonight unable / unwilling to locate / acknowledge where it is they are other than name-checking / the second largest country behind only mother ®ussia on god’s green ea®th, innit god - and breaks the 23h00 Bluesfest / nightly ©urfew with the next song, breaking the nightly ©urfew is all / we gots.

And then the Bluesfest Big Boa®d lights / went out, “I’m living’ the panhandler on the street said it better to ©in earlier this Thirstday evening – and yes and no they don’t ever come any / thirstier – after eyeing the buck twenty-five that ©in had dropped into / his ©up, apropos of god / knows what, innit god, ‘without / electricity’, before coming back on again, going out before coming back on again is all / we gots.

Good times, course ©in never audeed a free concert – he hears every note of every Bluesfest concert succinctly from up on out on up on out on up on up in here in the ©indominium - that he didn’t like, and these guys are pretty good, ‘New / ©ountry’ this music genre must be called he imagines as we do, interspersed with the usual paeans to small-time life and lust are some longer-than-usual guitar solos and even god forbid some synthed violins innit god (that’s really enough -id.), ‘his life’ it was written in the obituary of one of country music’s legends, ‘was like one / of his songs’, namely (wo)man loses car, job , (wo)man and in that order, and the narrative of ®egime ze®o is ‘assupposed to be a ©ountry song sung / backwards as someone in the Ten Day Part Deux at Rideauwood said it better, namely (wo)man gets back job, car and (wo)man and in that order, though this guy has seen very little to support that particular / narrative, mind you this cinconvenient fact didn’t prevent ©in from using that very line of a country song sung backward during the Ten Day and of a fellow-suffere® and how her life seemed to be turning / a corner,  a country song sung / backwards is all / we gots.

Cintermission

Reader, he lied – not for the first or last time, either before during or after the course of hulk-smashing away at this Take This Thing Back to Baltimore me-moirs and chill, he lied, or of the course of ®egime ze®, or of the course of his ©ameo up on out on up on out on up on out on this Dog and Pony Show – like / a ®ug, lying like a ®ug is all / we gots, for here comes / the mob, the (wo)men who make up this Thi®stday evening’s Bluesfest supe®fans outnumbered after all the fair-weather fans who left earlier because massive thunderstorms and lightning, and this by an order / of magnitude, and here they all come again traversing the street in front of the ©indominium even now, the visuals almost unbearable, expecially after the recent thunder shower because wet t-shirts and all / that,  the visuals almost unbearable is all / we gots, ‘flesh’ your man Billy Idol sang it better last week, ‘flesh / flesh for fantasy’, flesh / flesh / flesh for fantasy is all / we gots, never again will he bemoan the paucity of fall-down gorgeous women in O-town (that’s enough -id., take a video, it will last / longer oh wait / he did).

Good times, course tomorrow – ten minutes / away – and on his birthday (y)our man Cin the humble(d) narrato® of this Take This Thing Back to Baltimore me-moirs and wet / t-shirt contest fully cintends to actually join / the mob downstairs and across the street, for to audee the Red Hot ©hili Peppers with some fellow music-lovers of a TGIFF®iday evening innit G, the mob is all / we gots.

Course before during and after last night’s WTFednesday edition of Bluesfest, during the course of which the weather and the music and Plan C - and that dude who was brought on-stage to aks his girlfriend for her hand in marriage to many thousands of shrieks and she said / ‘yes’ , saying ‘yes’ to the dress is all / we gots – (y)our man Cin swore up and down that he would be after reserving the ©ommunity ®oom of the ©indominium tomorrow (now TGIFF®iday minus three / minutes, innit G) and having a proper Bluesfest-adjacent birthday party as we do with all manner of hot babes and cool cats, thinking of / the logistics is all / we gots.

Cinclusion

Course you mustn’t be / a f®aidy cat, innit cat, but in truth neither the combination of his birthday AND the scheduling of the ©hili Peppers AND all of it falling on a TGIFF®iday were enough of a perfe©t trifecta for him to actually cinvite some people over, even if over is / downstairs in the ©ommunity ®oom, IT’S ANOTHER (stop yelling it’s bad / netiquette -id.) one of life’s serendipitous moments / ignored, and we don’t have too many of those to begin with, and certainly not too many  of those / left, up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on this Dog and Pony Show.

What we should have done – and might yet still / do if he smartens up (we sigh -id., and wish) - is to rent the ©ommunity ®oom (oh please hooker you don’t rent it you just / reserve it  -id.) for the whole week-end and then cinvite toute la gange to come over any time and chill.  He used to roll that way before during and after the pre-®egime ze®o days but now mostly he sits up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out up here of an evening and hulk-smashes away at this Take This Thing Back to Baltimore me-moirs and come over any time and chill, smartening up  is all / we gots.

Thank you for reading (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and spank bank .

12-01-2014      ®ules                      Once you've gone ®egime ze®o, it cinfiltrates your thinking in the most cinsidious / ways.   As a logical enough extension of Cin's decision of a Sunday not to be connected electronically to any of his devices in any way shape or form, a decision was made to go mute / as well.   Not a wo®d would escape / his word-hole.                 It's hard enough, like all Things at first, to shuddup a your face, to keep your two cents to yourself, to shut your gob, to fermer / la bouche.   But it's not / that hard, matter of fact it reduces - to ze®o that four-lettered wo®d - the percintage of saying something of such rank stupidity that you regret it even before the words have left / your wo®dhole.   'I doubt you've ever had a stupid thou...
