2016-06-05                        Cassius

RIP Cassius Clay Mohammed Ali, his second fight against Sonny Lister – the 14-round knockout by Ali aka ‘The Rumble In the Jungle’ and / or ‘The Thrilla in Manilla’, it goes on / like this -  in Ali’s words ‘like / dying’, like / dying is all / we gots.

If only the ®ugby ©lub matches could have such florid / titles, but then again this kind of thing is ‘assupposed to be part of ©in’s job as he hulk-smashes away at the ®ugby ©lub Match ®eports after / the fact.  But like Ali v. Liston III after the latest match is like / dying, barely able to lift his right arm, .  ‘Imma aks’ Cin said it better from the pitch when aksed the same or similar by superfans on the side of the field, this after their scrum had been driven backward for the umpteenth time, surely impacting and / or damn near breaking his neck in the process and certainly leading to almost cincalcuable pain yesterday after and evening and all today in his neck, arm and shoulders, ‘for / a raise’.

Good times, a raise, hah, “I saw an interesting thing on the way here’ Pacino’s Michael Corleone says it better in Coppola’s Godfather Part II, referring to the ‘Viva la Revolucione / Viva La ©uba Libre’ ®ebel who stuffed himself and a bomb into the cop car at the checkpoint stop in that movie in Havana, taking a ©uban soldier / with him.  ‘The soldiers are paid,’ Michael summarizes his ©ontemporary Cuban history 101 lesson, ‘the rebels / are not.’  ‘What’ Michael is then aksed by his mentor Hyman Roth, whose birthday is the occasion in the film, and who is played by the great acting coach Lee Strasberg, ‘does that / tell you?’  ‘It tells me’ Michael replies to a disconcerted Roth ‘that they / can win’, winning is all / we gots.

That, and good / grammar.  What entices Cin and his team-mates to end up in a cindition – it’s ‘condition’ when god forbid it applies to someone other than / Himself, innit god -id. - like this of a Sunday after, and surprisingly enough of the Saturday morning that quickly became a Sadurday after yesterday, after / the match - before ®egime ®ero and in the days of cinstant liquid pain ®elief Cin would not be after feeling like he got hit by a series of trucks until at least Sunday and / 48 hours on Monday, certainly by Tuesday ?

‘It comes’ one of the p®otagonists of Chariots of Fire said it better when aked / the same of how he manages to run like / the wind, ‘from / inside’ , ‘why would anyone’ the protagonist of this film  Hitman 47 akses the titular character better , this before during and after he has claimed / the same as to why 100 new assassins – always incompetent in all of these kinds / of movies despite all of their body armor and weapons -  are trying to see Agent 47 kilt, ‘want more / of you ?’

And speaking of / kilt that four-lettered word, this special Mat©h ®eport edition of this Take This Thing Back to Baltimore me-moirs and body armour and weapons will have to be a truncated one, seeing as that every key on your man Tosh the laptop’s keyboard that (y)our man Cin the humble(d) mnarrator of the same is after hulk-smashing away at is causing him cincreasing pain, it is the rugger’s version of ©arpal tunnel ©indrome, weapons is all / we gots.

Thank you for reading (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and Cassius .

12-01-2014      ®ules                      Once you've gone ®egime ze®o, it cinfiltrates your thinking in the most cinsidious / ways.   As a logical enough extension of Cin's decision of a Sunday not to be connected electronically to any of his devices in any way shape or form, a decision was made to go mute / as well.   Not a wo®d would escape / his word-hole.                 It's hard enough, like all Things at first, to shuddup a your face, to keep your two cents to yourself, to shut your gob, to fermer / la bouche.   But it's not / that hard, matter of fact it reduces - to ze®o that four-lettered wo®d - the percintage of saying something of such rank stupidity that you regret it even before the words have left / your wo®dhole.   'I doubt you've ever had a stupid thou...
