2025-04-19 Easter(n) Promises

 2025-04-19          Easter(n) Promises

Course it’s not every / day that a taxpayer is in any kind / of mood that four-lettered word to be after hulk-smashing away at (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and Easter(n) Promises because why / bother , but still we endure, any kind / of mood is all / we gots.

It’s the economy, (y)our man the politician in the United States said it better before during and after one of the(ir) cinfamous Presidential elections, stupid, and it’s the visuals up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up in here what keeps (y)our man Cin the humble(d) narrator of (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and Easter(n) Promises hulk-smashing away at the same, and not fall fast / asleep as he almost certain (w) / © / and probably (sh) ould otherwise because Easter-tired as we do, stupid, visuals is all / we gots.

Course Easter(n) Promises come in all shapes / and sizes, and don’t they come flooding back to us as we do before during and after Easter time itself - ‘our mother used to dress us up in our Easter dresses’, (y)our (wo)man SZ recollected the same better yesterday of her sisters’ childhood memories, innit Clarisse, and how it always seems to be snowing at this time / of year, ‘and it was always / cold’ - innit Electrified JC, ‘the zombie’ someone called you better if less charitably because raised from / the dead that four-lettered word, ‘Jew’, eternal salvation (hooker please, -id.) is all  / we gots .

Most germane at (t)his time of year – Easter date itself falls for reasons (wo)mansplained to (y)our man Cin very recently and thoroughly and then in one / ear as we do and out / the other on different dates every year because the latest Full Moon followed by a couple of weeks followed by Easter and all / that , your Death Day suitably enough because flexible less set / in stone than your birthday of December 25 every year, innit Electrified JC (that’s enough, -id.) – is Regime Zero Year Twelveseseseseseseses, (t)his year’s anniversary of the same falling a full twenty days later this year than was the case for the origin story of the same in 2013, when April Fool’s Day and Easter week-end both fell on the same week-end because easy / to remember and Regime Zero ‘ the April Fool’s joke’, (y)our man Cin called it better then / as now, ‘that never / ends’, in one / ear and out / the other is all / we gots.

Course (y)our man Cin will take credit for a Baker’s / Dozen’s worth of Regime Zero anniversaries, augmenting to Year Thirteen of the same from the twelve on the calendar, regardless of whether at the beginning of April or the end this year or any other  because not the kind of man who would ever let a bakery analogy go / to waste, ‘no’, (y)our (bar)man-turned-movie star the actor Woody Harrelson, playing a mercenary in the Coen brothers’ movie version of Cormac Macarthy’s immor(t)al novel No Country for Old Men says it better to the bean-counter of a suit that four-lettered word in that movie before during and after sitting down in a chair in the accountant’s office without waiting for the suit’s offer to do so, and drawing the suit’s / ire for the trouble, ‘but you strike me as the kind of man who wouldn’t want a chair to go / to waste’ , (t)his April Fool’s Joke that Never / ends is All / we gots.

All kinds of / awake that five-lettered wordle all of / a sudden of (t)his Saturday after before during and after it becomes Another Sadurday Night and I Ain’t Got Nobody because visuals and now How Does It Feeling the effects of  (t)his third cup of coffee, black – the last the local strong coffee ‘ Bytown BOOM ‘ from proprietor Bridgehead Coffee Inc., and in whose edition on O-Town’s Bank Street and Second Avenue (y)our man Cin is currently after hulk-smashing away at (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and Easter(n) Promises because nothing if not / belligerent as we do  - and the first cup of which from earlier today lasted him the appropriate amount of time for his drive from Luksvegas on the Quebec side and over the mighty Ottawa River to the Ontaiariariariariariariariariario side by way of the Quyon ferry, and from there to work that four-lettered word for a mostly-failed trip to the network printers to make some copies of (y)our (wo)man the(ir) Ma Noslouc’s hand-written notes from her Book Club, meeting monthly next I Guess It Was a Good Tuesday because creatures / of habit , ‘ I guess it was a good / day’, (y)our man Ice Cube raps it better in his single of the same name, ‘I di’nt have to use my AK’, nothing if not / belligerent is all we gots.

Course and rather than flying into an (un)holy rage that four-lettered word as we would do in the halcyon pre-regime zero days and decades when a time-constrained trip to the cubicombs of an Easter Saturday mo(u)rning resulted in only one or two copies of Book Club Notes – and even those only partially complete – being printed, where ten are required, (y)our man Cin is after formulating a Plan B for Bank Street, and calculating the amount of time that four-lettered word that will be required to hike down to that Office Depot or Staples edition down / the street from here, and then aks the staff there whether or not ten copies of seventy pages’ worth of hand-written notes  and currently to be found on (y)our (walk)man Cin’s usb Sony Walkman flash drive might be printed, and if so at what / price  ?,  an (un)holy rage is all / we gots.

It's either that or the print shop for these copies, but as above and previously and after twenty years in the cubicombs – ‘if you’re lucky’, (y)our man Cin tries / and fails to imagine the protagonist of his ongoing Opera that five-lettered wordle and named after his current edition of the same 3500   and featuring only actual lines (st) / (m) and just plain / uttered at the same singing it better to a kohei or intern at work that five-lettered word, and holding up all twenty  fingers and toes for emphasis because poetic equivalency for (t)his opera’s eleven o’clock number (hooker please, -id.), ‘ after twenty years you’ll be able to count the number of good (wo)managers on no fingers / and toes’, and then of course the punchline as we do, ‘and that’s only if you’ve been lucky enough never to have had / any’ / the libretto – (y)our man Cin has become soft as we do, a ‘desk’, (y)our (wo)men the machos who work with him in the cubicombs call themselves better before during and after they’ve been / retired from active duty, ‘pussy’, and reliant on network printers for the occasional Book Club Notes print job because lazy, desk pussies is all / we gots.

And didn’t - and for the second time today - another face from the past that four-lettered word have / a seat directly across the floor from (y)our man Cin at this Bridgehead Coffee edition up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up in here on O-Town’s Bank Street and Second Avenue, and even as he was after hulk-smashing away at (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and Easter(n) Promises, this one he swears / to god belongs to the mother of a family of a classmate with whom (y)our man Cin spent 100 % of his high school classroom years, innit god (that’s enough, _id.)  and a good 20 % of his outside-the-classroom high school years because a friendly and warm week-end bed to sleep in with the family for when the commute to / and from O-Town and Luksvegas on the Quebec side proved too / onerous for a teen-ager, and a family whose presence (y)our man Cin has not sought out in the years since and before during and after the wheels / fall of as we do because a cingrate, onerous is all / we gots.

And the second – first – familiar face from the past who sat across / the Bridgehead Coffee edition aisle earlier of (t)his Saturday after before during and after it becomes Another Sadurday Night and I Ain’t Got Nobody, you might well aks dear reader(s)  ?  it was his grade school piano teacher, dollars / to donuts, innit Ms. Siddons, last videed at that long-haired Barocque   music concerto at the Chambles Church just down / the street from here and around / the corner, barocque is all / we gots.

Thank you for reading (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-meoires and  Happy Easter.

12-01-2014      ®ules                      Once you've gone ®egime ze®o, it cinfiltrates your thinking in the most cinsidious / ways.   As a logical enough extension of Cin's decision of a Sunday not to be connected electronically to any of his devices in any way shape or form, a decision was made to go mute / as well.   Not a wo®d would escape / his word-hole.                 It's hard enough, like all Things at first, to shuddup a your face, to keep your two cents to yourself, to shut your gob, to fermer / la bouche.   But it's not / that hard, matter of fact it reduces - to ze®o that four-lettered wo®d - the percintage of saying something of such rank stupidity that you regret it even before the words have left / your wo®dhole.   'I doubt you've ever had a stupid thou...
