Sep 21, 2025 Here comes / the Sun Day

‘ You’ll get two’, (y)our man Cin the humble(d) narrator of (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and here comes / the sun day said it better back in the day to the assembled congregation in general - and to the grieving family and lifelong friends from The Metis Beaches of the recently deceased in particular - at the funeral for the same in Montreal, by way of introduction to the dueling eulogies soon / to follow, one from (y)our man the(ir) Da Noslouc, and one from (y)our (wo)man the(ir) Ma Noslouc, and the both of them accompanied as we do by (y)our man Cin the(ir) fils Noslouc for the trip that winter Saturday after before during and after it became another Sadurday Night and I Ain’t Got Nobody from Luksvegas to the suburbs of Montreal because putting the  ‘ fun ‘ / in ‘ funeral ‘  (hooker please, -id.) “ for the price / of one “ and of the good times sure / to follow as (y)our (wo)men the Noslouc family members present and his M and P took turns eulogizing as we do, with (y)our man Cin’s job to pull a Vaudeville cane-yanking manouever of hooking (y)our man the(ir) Da Noslouc off / the stage if he went on and on and on too / long as we do and as (y)our (wo)man the(ir) Da’s older sister, nom-de-famille Big Red, did the night of his daughter and son-out-law’s nuptials back in the 20th,  though (y)our man Cin thought that The Gong from the Gong SHow came out too early that / night and might this / after as well, ‘my’, you said it better of one of your a eulogy from last year for Joe, innit Johnny Mo, ‘sermon’, The Gong from The Gong SHow is all / we gots.

Course the point / of all of (t)his exposition is that (y)our man Cin and fils to the other two Noslouc eulogizers at Pierre’s funeral should have upped / the ante on (t)his two-for-one line, and taken advantage as we do of his time near the pulpit of the church that after by throwing in a brief eulogy of his own, three for the price / of one is all / we gots.. (T)his memory from a summer time trip back in the 20th up North in The Beaches involved a whole slew of The Beachers’ parents and children - back then we did such / things - piling into the cube van for families (just a van  ? a f*^k tr*^ you called yours, innit Noonan, the one you drove at Club Midd back and forth to Rugby Club matches and all / over the 802 back in the 20th with the ‘single and lovin’ it’ bumper sticker but affixed to the top-right of the rear window, and the van in which you surely remember Buttsy and Monkey Boy Flood of the Weston Floods  R    E    D   A    C    T    E   D, and all of  which ended eventually in averted tragicomedy before during and after (y)our man the Colonel of a father of the daughter came through the dorm room door and Monkey Boy Flood of the Weston Floods Spider-Manned like Fabio through / the window of the same because rightly afraid for / his life) for the annual The Beaches summer trip into the nearby hills to the famous Pizzeria up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up in (t)here, a take-out and dine-in restaurant in Saint Moise by the name of Le Grand Gus where we went annually because hangry, cingle and lovin’ it is all / we gots.

What it is is that (y)our man Cin had fond recollections of that trip in the shag-rugged interior and one of them exterior-laddered-to-the-roof because joint-smoking and star-gazing up there of a BEaches evening back in the 20th mini-vans and OG / Original Gangster SUVs / Sport Utility Vehicles - back in the ‘80s these vans an orgiastice adventure to pile / into for the elevenquarantween screamqueen (hooker please, -id.) The BEaches kids male and female and parents both back in the 20th, the ha(s)teful SUVs now of course one of the worst villains of the catastrophe by vehicular traffic which is killing hu(wo)manity and the planet both minute / by minute because carmaggeadeon -  replete with the ‘ 70s era bubble window installed above the second of the three back seats in the Niuord’s Scooby Doo -style task force fan, detailed as we do finally as well with the prerequisite eight-track player stereo, matching cigarette lighters and ashtrays both in the driver and passenger seats both, swivelling Captain’s chair for us  The Beaches’ WASP kids to use in order to bark out / orders as we do to the parental units (un)fortunate enough to accompany us on / these trips into the hills to the pizzeria in Saint Moise and tasked with driving / the Magic Scooby Doo van from the front seats as all hell / broke loose in the back, ‘am I’ (y)our (drug Cartel middle) man(ager) in the Coen brothers’ immor(t)al film version of Cormac MaCarthy RIP’s novel No Country for Old Men akses it better of the villain of the piece Anton Shugar and played by Javier Bardem as we do in the film and sent to clean up / the mess of a deal gone / wrong before during and after pointing to the passenger seat in the pick-up truck that the two are about / to drive through the hazardous surroundings, ‘riding / bitch ? ‘, an orgiastice adventure is all / we gots.

Specifically it was the music that five-lettered wordle that (y)our Cin remembers most / vividly in what’s left of (t)his hol(e)y-like- swiss-cheese-without / the cheese memory about that year’s trip to the back and beyod back in the 20th from The Metis Beaches up to the pizzeria in the hills beyond and by way the Niuord’s shag rug-interior’ed Disco Van on that cinfamous TGIFFriday evening, innit G, and even more specifically George Harrison and the rest of The Beatles’ (goggle it) immor(t)al Here Comes the Sun, and which was triggered today by an on-line NYTimes.com news article headline of the same name that he videed on his so-called smart phone before during and after attending for the first time in months if not years because Captain Howdy (that’s enough, -id.) the 11 eleven o’clock Mass at Saint Mary’s up on out on up on out on up on out on up oon out on up on out on up on out on up on out on up in here in Quyon on the Quebec side, and before during and after finding (t)his fetch  / perch as we do for videeing the Quyon Ferry take passengers and vehicles back and forth over the mighty Ottawa River to Fitzroy Harbor on the Ontariarairariariariariariariariariariariario side as we do and (t)his ideal picnic - table -with-umbrella impromptu desk at which to hulk-smash away at (t)his Take This THing Back to Balti-memoires and here comes / the sun, ‘he’s that African dude’, one of (y)our men(children) Beavis or Butthead from the MTV cartoon of the same name from back in the 20th (and recently regurgitated for Generation Z or whoever, only with shorter episode to match the(ir) ADHDADZDAD !) takes down (y)our man the singer Paul Simon a peg / or two as we do , and making an ass out of you / and me by drawing the wrong conclusions from the fact of Simon’s African music-infused album Diamonds in the Soles of her SHoes from back in the 20th, ‘from / The Beatles’, (t)his fetch  / perch  is all / we gots.

Course (y)our man Cin the humble(d) narrator of (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and here comes / the sun mansplained none / of this at the funeral service several years ago, getting cold / feet as we do before during and after considering - and then discarding - the possibility of adding a third Noslouc eulogy for the price / of one, even as he introduced the concept of the(ir) M and P RIP Noslouc about to deliver not one but two duelegies (hooker please, -id.) for (y)our man Pierre RIP, and whose Magical Mystery Tour Bus van with the Beatles’ immor(t)al Here Comes The Sun soundtrack had just elicited  such strong me-moires in him as we do because stage fright he supposes, (un)mitigated if that’s / the word by Regime Zero, though it was a mo(u)rning service (hooker please, -id.) that Satuurday after before during and after it became Another Sadurday Night and I AIn’t GOt Nobody, innit Cat Stevens and also a Top Ten memory tune from that / era, and also the service not the type of affair where only big shots and worthies were invited to speak, and it was not the first or last time that (y)our man Cin, who had previously and at that very Point Claire church on the Quebec side served as Best Man at (y)our (wo)men Darayush and Nancy’s nuptials back in the 20th, and (t)his third stint at doing those double-duties before during and after his halcyon pre-Regime Zero days and nights and decades back in the 20th and the early / naugthies, and more recently at the service and reception in Boston for (y)our (wo)man the(ir) Aunt Eded , where (y)our man Cin should have / but didn’t pipe up and despite having no end / of stories to tell and a mouth / to tell them with because failure of nerves , the naughties is all / we gots.

Thank you for reading (t)his Take This Thing Back to Balti-memoires and here comes / the Cin Day (hooker please, -id.)
